Founded in Japan in 1966, Uniden is a global pioneer in wireless communication, with Japanese engineering behind every radio, dash cam and camera it makes.

Uniden was founded in Japan in 1966 by Hidero Fujimoto and built its reputation on CB and marine radio, growing through the 1980s into one of the world's largest makers of radio products. It went on to become Australia's number one cordless phone brand for more than 20 years and released the world's first 4K dash cam in 2018. Six decades on, Uniden still applies the same Japanese engineering to its XTRAK smart UHF radios, marine VHF radios, dash cams, wire-free security cameras and portable speakers, all built for Australian conditions.

12 Volt Direct stocks 87 Uniden products, including UHF CB radios, handhelds, antennas and dash cams.
