Overview
Small UHF CB, loud dual speakers
A trade-quality 80 channel UHF CB that is only 101mm wide and 24mm high. It runs on 12V or 24V, so it suits almost any car, 4WD, truck or tow vehicle.
Speakers in both the base and the microphone keep calls clear in a noisy cab, and you can pick from 7 backlight colours to suit your dash. The flip display lets you mount it upside down, and the quick release bracket makes it easy to swap between vehicles. Pair it with an AT840 elevated feed antenna.

Fits anywhere
Fits where bigger radios won't
At 101mm wide, 24mm high and 83mm deep, the X80 slips into tight spots in the cab. The LCD has a flip function, so the display reads the right way up if you mount the radio upside down. The quick release bracket lets you move it from one vehicle to another.

- ✓Flip display for reverse mounting
- ✓Quick release bracket
Hear every call
Two speakers for a noisy cab
There's a speaker in the base and another in the microphone, and you can run either one or both. Volume keys sit on the base and the mic, so you can turn it up without reaching for the dash. Pick from 7 backlight colours and 3 brightness levels to match the interior.

- ✓Volume keys on base and mic
- ✓7 colour LCD and key backlight

Frequently asked questions
Does the X80 come with an antenna?
No. The box has the radio, quick release bracket, mic hanger, fused DC power cord and mounting hardware. Add a UHF antenna such as the Uniden AT840.
Will it run in a 24V truck?
Yes. It takes 12V or 24V DC, and it gives an alert if the supply voltage goes too high or too low.
Can I mount it upside down?
Yes. The LCD has a flip function so the display stays readable when the radio is mounted in reverse.
Can I talk on every channel?
Not quite. Channels 22 and 23 are for telemetry and telecommand, so voice transmission is blocked. Channels 61, 62 and 63 are reserved for future use and are receive only.
Do I need a licence?
In Australia, UHF CB use is covered by the ACMA Citizen Band Radio Stations Class Licence, and operation is subject to its conditions.
