We will issue a Return Authorisation Form
Returns sent without this form may be rejected and returned to sender
Returned products must:
Be in brand new condition
Include original packaging, all accessories, and any bonus items
Be free of any damage caused while in your possession
Please Note:
Goods are your responsibility during return transit
12 Volt Direct is not liable for lost or damaged returns
A 15% restocking fee applies to items returned without original packaging
Delivery charges are non-refundable
If the returned product is not faulty, you may be charged:
Inspection or return freight costs
A $50 "No Fault Found" service fee
If your item arrives damaged or is not working as expected:
We may request photos to help assess and resolve the issue quickly
This also assists our warehouse and product development teams to prevent future issues
We will work with you to arrange a repair, exchange, or refund
Customers cover the cost of sending items to us for warranty inspection
If your warranty claim is approved, 12 Volt Direct will pay to send out the replacement or repaired product
Approved refunds are processed within 14 days
This policy operates in line with and in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If returned goods are assessed and found ineligible for a refund or warranty (e.g. incomplete, damaged, or no fault found):
The item will be held for 14 days
You may:
Collect the item, or
Arrange return shipping at your own cost
If we do not receive instructions within 14 days, the goods will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of without notice.
12 Volt Direct accepts no responsibility for unauthorised or unclaimed items after this period.

Trade show or field day sales
