Overview
1200mm of high gain heavy duty antenna
A 6.6 dBi heavy duty fibreglass radome UHF CB antenna, 1200mm tall when mounted. Built on a stainless steel barrel spring for 4WD and truck work.
The ATX970 is ground independent and comes with 4.5m of low loss coax, an FME female connector, a PL259 adaptor, a locking key and a weather cap. At 1200mm it's a tall antenna, so a folding antenna mount bracket lets you lay it down for car parks and garages.

The 1068mm whip puts the antenna at 1200mm when mounted. That length gives you 6.6 dBi of gain on 477MHz UHF CB, the higher gain option in Uniden's ATX970 range.

Built tough
Stainless spring for rough tracks
A 44-55-44mm barrel style stainless steel spring lets the antenna flex back from branches and soak up corrugations. The aluminium ferrule holds the fibreglass radome firm on its 8mm thread.

Fitting
Connect it and go
It's ground independent, so it doesn't need a metal ground plane under the mount. Run the 4.5m low loss coax to the radio, use the FME female connector or the PL259 adaptor, and lock it on with the supplied key. A weather cap is included.
