Talk and share your location
A 5W waterproof UHF handheld with a large anti-glare OLED screen and Bluetooth. Pair it with the free XTRAK app to share your position with other XTRAK Pro radios, even without phone service.
Location sharing works between XTRAK 50 Pro handhelds and the XTRAK 80 Pro in-vehicle radio, as long as you're within UHF CB range of each other. A dedicated Instant Replay key plays back up to 4 minutes of received calls, and the radio is IPX7 waterproof. Uniden rates it at up to 17km line of sight and up to 30 hours of operating time.

Pair the radio with the free XTRAK app on your phone and you can see the positions of other XTRAK Pro radios on the map. It works over UHF, so it keeps going without mobile phone service, as long as the radios are within UHF CB range of each other. The app can also record your tracks.

The radio meets IPX7/JIS7, which Uniden defines as no water getting in when immersed at 1m for 30 minutes with all fittings secured. The speaker mic and other accessories are not waterproof, so keep them dry.

The XTRAK 50 Pro comes with a single drop-in charging cradle, plus an AC adaptor and a cig-lead adaptor for the cradle. You also get a speaker mic, an earpiece mic, a belt clip and the detachable antenna, ready to go.

How does location sharing work?
Pair the radio with the XTRAK app on a smartphone with Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The app shares your position with other XTRAK Pro radios within UHF CB range, including the XTRAK 80 Pro, even without mobile service.
What range will I get?
Uniden rates it at up to 17km typical range, line of sight. Duplex lets you work through repeaters.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 30 hours at 1W and up to 20 hours at 5W, based on 5% transmit, 5% receive and 90% standby with Bluetooth and replay off. A full charge from empty takes up to 4 hours.
Is it waterproof?
The radio is IPX7/JIS7 rated, with no water ingress at 1m for 30 minutes when all fittings are secured. The speaker mic and accessories are not waterproof.
What's the difference from the standard XTRAK 50?
The Pro adds Bluetooth: the XTRAK app for location sharing, settings and software updates, and Bluetooth audio. The standard XTRAK 50 has no Bluetooth.
