Overview
136W USB socket: 100W USB-C PD
Our most powerful USB socket. The USB-C Power Delivery port delivers a full 100 W, even on a 12V system, because the socket boosts the voltage up to 20V internally. That is enough for a 16″ laptop, a Starlink Mini or a power-hungry camera rig, while the second port fast charges a phone or tablet at up to 36 W. IP65 rated, fully protected, and it fits the same 29.2 mm hole as a standard USB socket.
Compare our USB sockets
Which one is right for you? All six fit the same 29.2 mm hole, so you can upgrade an older socket without re-cutting the panel.

1 x USB-A 5V 2.1A (10.5 W)

1 x USB-A QC 3.0 (18 W)

Ports and charging
| Port | Output | Max Power |
|---|---|---|
| USB-C PD | 5V / 3A 9V / 3A 12V / 3A 15V / 3A 20V / 5A | 100 W |
| USB-A QC 3.0 | 5V / 3A 9V / 3A 12V / 3A | 36 W |
| Both together | 136 W max |
On a 12V battery the socket steps up to 20V at 5A for the full 100 W, so you get laptop-charger power without an inverter. Every device negotiates its own voltage, so phones, earbuds and torches charge safely from the same socket.
To get the full 100 W you need a USB-C to USB-C cable rated for 5A (100 W). Standard 3A cables limit charging to 60 W.
Powers a Starlink Mini
Starlink specifies a 100 W USB-C PD supply for the Starlink Mini. This socket delivers it straight from your 12V or 24V battery, with no inverter and no power brick, so you can mount it in the canopy, camper or caravan and plug the dish straight in.

Fully protected

- ✓Over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection
- ✓Short circuit protection on the outputs
- ✓Reverse polarity protection: no damage if the wires are swapped during fitting
- ✓Handles voltage spikes: runs up to 32V and survives peaks of 36V for 3–4 seconds, common when 24V systems charge
- ✓IP65 sealed: dust tight and protected against water jets
- ✓Low standby draw: just 20 mA with nothing plugged in
- ✓Rated for 5,000 plug cycles, with copper terminals, nickel plated against corrosion
Fitting
- ✓Hole size: cut a round hole of at least 29.2 mm (a 30 mm hole saw works) in any panel, dash, battery box or canopy wall
- ✓Space behind the panel: allow about 80 mm for the body and terminals, plus room for the wires
- ✓Mounting: push the socket through from the front and tighten the threaded retaining nut from behind
- ✓Wiring: push-on spade terminals marked + and −. Run the positive through an inline fuse close to the battery
- ✓Suggested fuse: 15A on the positive feed (the socket can draw over 12A at full output on 12V)
- ✓Terminals: 6.3 mm copper spade terminals, nickel plated
- ✓Check depth first: this socket is longer than most (78 mm overall), so make sure there is room behind the panel
