In-car radio, handheld and antenna
A UHF starter kit for touring and 4WD: the X76 5W in-vehicle UHF CB, a UH825 2W handheld and an AT380 flexible antenna. Stay in touch in the car and when you step away from it.
The X76 puts its large LCD and controls on the speaker mic, so the compact base can be mounted out of sight. An X76 5W in-vehicle UHF CB, a UH825 2W handheld UHF radio and an AT380 3.0 dBi flexible antenna.
How far will the handheld reach?
Uniden rates the UH825 at up to 13km typical range, line of sight. Duplex lets it work through repeaters for further range, depending on the repeater location and terrain.
Can the two radios talk to each other?
Yes. Both are 80 channel UHF radios, so set them to the same channel and you're talking.
Is the handheld waterproof?
No. Uniden's manual says the UH825 is not waterproof, so keep it out of rain and moisture.
Is an antenna bracket included?
No bracket is listed for the AT380. Add a Uniden MBU-05BK folding mount if your vehicle doesn't already have one.
