Overview
Spotlight and 2K camera, no wires
A 100% wire-free outdoor security camera with a built-in spotlight. It records 2K video, runs on a rechargeable battery and needs no subscription.
Mount it anywhere around the outside of the house, connect it to 2.4GHz WiFi and watch from the My Uniden+ app. Thermo Sense detection cuts false alerts, and the spotlight adds colour to night footage. Pair it with the SPS-X Solar Panel to keep the battery charged in daylight.
After dark
Colour footage when it counts
When the camera picks up movement at night, the built-in spotlight switches on. It lights up whoever's approaching, adds colour to the footage up to 10m away, and lets them know they've been seen.
- ✓Spotlight and camera in one
- ✓Colour night vision up to 10m
- ✓Siren alert from the app
Easy DIY install
No wires, no electrician
It's battery powered, so you can mount it on an eave, fence or wall without running power. The bracket turns 360° and tilts 90°, then locks in place. Add an SPS-X solar panel in a sunny spot to keep the battery charged.
- ✓360° wall mount bracket
- ✓Screws and Type-C cable included
- ✓Solar panel compatible
Smarter alerts
Alerts for people, not shadows
Thermo Sense technology looks for body heat as well as movement, which cuts down false alerts from things like swaying branches. Set motion zones in the My Uniden+ app, then talk through the camera or set off the siren when someone turns up.
- ✓Heat and movement detection
- ✓Motion zone selection
- ✓Low battery notifications

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to run any cables?
No. The camera runs on its own rechargeable 5,200mAh battery and connects over 2.4GHz WiFi. Charge it with the Type-C cable, or keep it topped up with the optional SPS-X solar panel.
How long does the battery last?
Uniden quotes up to 180 days per charge, based on a full battery and one detection a day. More activity means more frequent charging, which is where a solar panel helps.
Is there a subscription?
No. Free 7-day rolling cloud backup is included for the life of the product, with no monthly fee. Only motion recordings go to the cloud, each saved as a short clip. You can also record to a microSD card up to 256GB.
Will it handle Australian weather?
Yes. It's IP65 weatherproof and rated to operate from -20°C to +50°C.
Does it work with Alexa or Google?
Uniden's quick start guide says the My Uniden+ app supports Alexa and Google Home.
