Overview
Amber light, fewer bugs
The amber ROK-3 is the same tough little pod as our white ROK-3, with a warm 1650K amber output that insects are far less drawn to.
Fit it to the awning or canopy and enjoy dinner without a cloud of moths around the light. Amber also cuts through dust and smoke better than white, so it works well as a rear or scene light on dusty tracks.

Frequently asked questions
Does amber light really reduce bugs?
Insects are attracted mostly to blue and ultraviolet light. Warm amber light has very little of either, so far fewer bugs gather around it than around a white light.
What size is it?
The ROK-3 housing is 74mm long, 41mm wide and 19.3mm deep, with a mounting hole at each end.
How do I mount it?
Screw it straight onto any flat surface, or use one of our brackets: the 30 degree angled base to tilt the beam, Rhino-Rack Pioneer brackets or awning brackets.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. It is rated IP69K, so it handles rain, river crossings, pressure washing and dust.
Can I dim it?
Yes. It can be dimmed with a PWM (pulse width modulation) dimmer or controller, and it is compatible with the dimming on Redarc RedVision systems.
Can I use them while driving on the road?
They are made for off-road, camp, canopy and work lighting. Rules for extra lights on vehicles differ between states, so check your state rules before using them while driving on public roads.
