10 m Anderson Style Extension Lead Premium 6mm Twin Cable, Moulded Plugs

10 Metre Anderson extension lead

Need more reach? This 10 m lead has a moulded Anderson-style plug on each end, so it plugs straight between your battery and your fridge, solar panel or accessory. Most Anderson extension leads use thin 2.5mm or 4mm cable. Ours use heavier 6mm twin cable, so more power reaches your fridge, lights or solar regulator.

Why cable size matters

Every metre of cable loses some voltage, and thin cable loses more. Run a fridge through a long, thin lead and the voltage at the fridge can drop low enough to trip its low-voltage cut-out, or cut the charge your solar panel delivers. Heavier cable keeps the voltage up at the far end, which matters most on longer leads.

Built to last

• ✓Moulded Anderson-style plugs: both plugs are moulded onto the cable with a strain-relief boot, so there are no exposed joins to work loose, crack or let in dust and water
• ✓Premium 6mm twin cable: heavier than the 2.5mm or 4mm cable in most extension leads
• ✓Pure copper, UV-stable sheath: pure copper conductors (not copper-clad aluminium) inside an outer sheath that stands up to the Australian sun
• ✓Plated Anderson contacts: for a low-resistance connection that resists corrosion
• ✓Genderless SB50 connectors: any two grey 50A Anderson plugs join together, and they lock so they won’t vibrate apart on the road

Running high-current gear, a DC-DC charger or a long solar run? Step up to our heavy-duty 8mm lead, TVDA20.
