Plug and play

Battery on, internet on

The Starlink Mini runs on 12–48V DC, so an 18V tool battery powers it directly. No booster, no inverter, no power supply.

  • ✓Slide on a charged Ryobi 18V battery
  • ✓Plug the DC lead into the Mini
  • ✓Online in minutes

The built-in on/off switch lets you power the Mini down without pulling the battery.

Run time

Ryobi adaptor features including the on/off switch

How long will it last?

5AhAbout 2.2 hrs
6AhAbout 2.7 hrs
8AhAbout 3.6 hrs
12AhAbout 5.4 hrs

Run times are approximate. The Mini draws more power when it is busy with data, has more devices connected, is starting up or finding satellites, and in rain. Battery age and its BMS also affect capacity.

Need longer? Swap in a fresh battery and keep going, or run the Mini from 12V with one of our 30V boosters.
