The Alpine HX-Z8 is a rugged Android tablet with Hema's on-road and off-road maps built in. You get offline maps, GPS tracking, 4G and the full Google Play Store on a large screen, plus a professional anti-vibration windscreen mount in the box.
Hema Maps has been mapping Australia since 1983, with roads and 4WD tracks field checked by the Hema Map Patrol. The HX-Z8 puts that mapping on a screen you can read at a glance.

Rock-solid on the windscreen
The included KTX-HX8 Professional Rugged Alloy Mount is made for the HX-Z8. A triple-action vacuum cup locks to the windscreen with a twist, four anti-vibration torsion dampeners soak up the shakes, and a 360-degree dock holds the tablet with a four-point clip-in and secondary lock.

No. Hema states the HX-Z8 offers reliable offline maps and GPS tracking. Mobile data or Wi-Fi is only needed for things like online updates and apps.

Can I make calls on it?
Yes. It supports 4G on global bands with dual nano SIM and VoLTE HD calling.
Are Hema 4WD Maps included?
