Overview
A discreet record of every trip, front and rear
The HM-DVR2 is a compact, barrel-style dash cam that sits neatly behind the mirror. The front camera records in 2K QHD through a 150° lens, and a separate 1080p rear camera covers what is behind. Built-in GPS logs your journey, and Wi-Fi sends footage to your phone.
A micro SD card (up to 128 GB) is needed and is not included.

The slim barrel design keeps the dash cam out of the way. The front camera starts recording automatically when you start the engine, in 2K QHD through a wide 150° lens with a Sony Exmor CMOS sensor for fine detail.

A second camera for the rear
The 1080p rear camera activates when reverse gear is engaged, giving a practical view behind the vehicle. An 8 m rear camera cable is supplied for the run to the back.

Park mode, GPS and the app
The included 3-wire smart hardwire kit gives constant power for 24-hour park mode, and it works with smart stop/start systems. Supercapacitor technology keeps it recording reliably in very hot and very cold conditions.

Frequently asked questions
Is a memory card included?
No. It takes a micro SD card up to 128 GB, Class 6 or above (Class 10 recommended), sold separately.
Does it record while parked?
Yes. The included 3-wire smart hardwire kit provides constant power for 24-hour park mode monitoring, even with the engine off. It is compatible with smart stop/start systems.
Does the Wi-Fi connect it to the internet?
No. Wi-Fi links the dash cam to your phone so you can view and download footage in the HEMA DVR App. It does not provide internet connectivity.
When does the rear camera work?
Hema says the front camera starts with the engine and the rear camera activates when reverse gear is engaged, giving you a view behind the vehicle. An 8 m rear camera cable is supplied.
What is the difference between the HM-DVR2 and HM-DVR22?
The HM-DVR2 is a discreet barrel design recording 2K QHD at the front. The HM-DVR22 records 4K UHD and has an 81 mm screen. Both include a 1080p rear camera, GPS, Wi-Fi and a hardwire kit.
